Fabrienne Alexander
Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States
Fabrienne is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications at North Carolina Central University. She also an Administrative Support Associate for the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before attending NCCU, she was a career employee in higher education at Case Western Reserve University, the University of North Caroline at Chapel Hill, and North Carolina Central University. She is also a mother of three beautiful children and has one grand child.
Fabrienne is interested in producing art in different media settings. She has a passion for designing drawing, painting, and graphics. She always keeps her eye on the latest trends over typography, shapes, colors, photography, and etc.
She desires to work as graphic designer (freelance and studio). Her skills cover many aspects of graphic design, web design, illustration and technical knowledge. She is also skilled on hardware, software, and computers knowledge.
She is never without some form of photography equipment in her hands to capture the images in order to develop inspirational pieces of art. The images tend to develop into more in-depth ideas and detailed images. She doesn’t consider herself to be an environmental artist or to create artwork relating to social commentary. Fabrienne’s portfolio has been developed with several different media background. The descriptions for her work has started to emerge on its own. Once she began to notice a pattern of the interest and talent, she always knew that she wanted to express herself through art. She quickly realize technology will play a part in her talents. Fabrienne hasn’t had any reviews on her artwork. She always try to depict a positive message too - the persistence of nature beauty in recapturing her view of the images with photography and then to draw and paint those images in a realistic form. In school, the only class she really enjoyed was art. Her obsession with colors force her to explore how to blend and define lines. Some of her subject matter and photography is about people's daily routines and a visual comment on human nature. And since she has always been a fan of japanimation films - a new focus of work will emerge depicting a very 'human' and 'playful' mood and a focus on the animation world.
Thanks to the encouragement of family, friends, and complete strangers, she will hope to be able to trade in her full-time job for full-time art.
