Fabrizio Fenucci – Biography
Born in Italy and based in Milan, he graduated in photography from Urbino Istituto Statale d’Arte “Scuola del Libro”.

Between 1987/’89 has worked as freelance assistant photographer with Demarchelier, Toscani, Ritts, Halsband and started his career in 1989.

His work has been commissioned by magazines such as Donna, Vogue sposa, Vogue Germania, Elle Germania, Moda Bimbi and by advertising clients in Milan and Paris including Philips, Citroen, Coca Cola, Mercedes, Swatch, Microsoft, IBM, Artsana, BPM, Unicredit, Etro, Sergio Rossi, Lovable, Pupa, Fila, Triumph, Robe di Kappa, Diadora.

In partenship with the Italian Ministry of Culture he has developed the multimedia publishing project “I Tesori delle Biblioteche Italiane”, Tresures of the Italian Libraries, and coordinated the agreement and participation of several National libraries to the project in Italy and abroad. He has directed several digitization projects such as Biblioteca Reale di Torino (digitization of Leonardo da Vinci drawings), Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana (digitization of Federico da Montefeltro illuminated codex).

He has collaborated and contributed his work for the following exhibitions: 2007 “Federico da Montefeltro and his Library”, New York, The Morgan Library & Museum. 2008 “Leonardo da Vinci: drawings from the Biblioteca Reale in Turin”. Birmingham Museum of Art, Alabama.

He has also had the honour to do lectures at UCLA University, Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies in Los Angeles in December 2006 and at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge during The Seventh Islamic Manuscript Conference in July 2011.
