Facets Dance Theater’s Mission is to produce a dance company of artist who present quality dance performances throughout Florida and the USA, train young aspiring dancers in the performing arts, develop Facets Dance Theater Conservatory into a leader of dance education and provide community outreach programs and positive role models for people of all races, ages and backgrounds.

Facets Dance Theater is a burgeoning dance institution inspired by a dream and built on passion. It is comprised of a performance Ensemble (FDTC), The FDT Conservatory and Facets of Life, an Arts Education and Community Outreach Program. Every facet of Facets Dance Theater is devoted to enhancing people's lives through the arts. Founded in December 2016 by Leon Frager, whose love for dance and the arts, inspired him to start a school that would give children the same opportunities of learning about dance and the performing arts that were given to him.
Facets Dance Theater Company, is a modern dance company that fuses the spirit and vigor of Miami’s young dance talent with the zeal and innovative vision of talented choreographers. The diverse dance artists perform an eclectic repertoire of Modern, Jazz, Ballet and African pieces. FDTC gives its young dancers the opportunity to share their talents with audiences all while engaging with the community through outreach programs.
The Facets Dance Theater Conservatory (FDT Conservatory) is a Pre Professional School for Dancers Ages 3 and up. The Ballet and Modern based dance training program is an outlet for dancers to grow artistically as performers, choreographers and dance educators. In addition to Ballet and Modern, the dance training program also provides classes in Jazz and African to train aspiring dancers for placement in Performing Arts Schools, with Facets Dance Theater Company (FDTC) and other professional dance companies. Classes for professional dancers to get continuing dance education and classes for everyday people of all levels for recreational purposes are also available.
FDT incorporates an Arts Education and Community Outreach Program, Facets of Life. It’s a resource available to the vulnerable population including, but not limited to children and the elderly, etc. It offers a variety of activities and entertainment that include, in class and out house dance residencies, special dance performances, lectures and master classes.
