Faheem Shams has completed Master of Business (Professional Accounting & Finance) at the University of South Australia and currently working Tax Accountant with one of Mid Tier accounting firm in Adelaide and pursuing CPA.

He has started his career soon after completing MBA majoring in Finance with Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman Chartered Accountants, a member firm of RSM International as Audit Trainee. This position offered an in depth learning opportunity in audit and preparation of financial accounting. His performance in the firm saw him transferred to financial consultancy, where he gained unique experience and knowledge in the world of corporate finance.

In the quest of career opportunities, he joined one of the premier Islamic banks in Pakistan, Meezan Bank Limited. In the position of Senior Credit Officer, he took role as Credit Assessor to incoming credit proposals, reporting, and disbursement of various modes of Islamic Finance.

In 2009 he decided to gain international exposure and strengthen his knowledge of accounting and finance at the University of South Australia. During this time he was involved with a number of university activities. Due to his services for University of South Australia as an active student, he was bestowed the prestige honor of Future Leadership Award in 2011.

He volunteers an internship in Finance Department at UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide, a nonprofit organization that works to raise the life style of less fortunate people in community. His advice to students is to utilise the career support services at university, attend networking events and be proactive when looking for work. After graduation form University of South Australia, He joined EY Pakistan as Associate a d worked for year before he back to Adelaide for new challenge. His Expertise includes
