Faisal Husain

Faisal Husain is a PhD student at Georgetown University’s Department of History. His doctoral research focuses on the history of the Iraqi alluvium during the Ottoman period and analyzes its environmental conditions in the context of long-term human settlement, land use, and irrigation.
