Faith L. K. Smith

During my career I've worn a few different hats, starting out as an editor in the medical publishing industry in Baltimore and NYC.

After moving to New Jersey, I worked for several years as a freelance editor before venturing into the world of nonprofits, first as a Marketing Director and later as a PR consultant. My love of promotional and persuasive writing steered me toward an MFA program, and under the direction of my adviser, author Susan Cheever, I studied Creative Writing with a concentration in nonfiction.

After graduation, I joined the hospitality industry, working as a copywriter in a corporate creative department. In 2013 I returned to NYC to write web copy for a marketing firm.

These days I'm back in New Jersey building my own business: OWL Writing & Editorial Services. I'm excited to see what's next!
