Fannie is the quintessential multilingual new age entrepreneur, with vested interest in fashion and technology.
She is borned in Indonesia and raised in Singapore. She speaks Mandarin to her family but English to everyone else. She also speaks Bahasa Indonesia, Thai and French. She has a Masters degree in Technopreneurship and Innovation, and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She also did exchanged programs in Stanford University, Tsinghua University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Washington
Her 1st startup is in the fashion industry, representing independent fashion designers to develop businesses globally. Her 2nd startup was awarded with the i.JAM grant from the Media Development Authority of Singapore for a tech business. She still runs her fashion business as a lifestyle business and enjoys meeting intelligent hipsters in the startup community.
Her last role was with a business accelerator call JFDI.Asia, the first in Asia, as their COO. Being familiar with the tech startup ecosystem in Singapore and the region, she now works at Amazon Web Services to help with Startup Business Development in ASEAN.
