Farah Halime
Writer in London, United Kingdom
I am a British-Palestinian fiction writer and screenwriter.
I was the lead script writer on Corinna and the King and I'm steering the development of the podcast into a multi-season television series.
In 2024, I made my directorial debut with a short film I wrote called Tea With Friends. I directed an adaptation of the classical Greek play, The Trojan Women.
My debut novel is represented by Curtis Brown.
In a previous life, I was a journalist reporting on the Arab Spring from Cairo and Beirut, and writing profiles and features from New York City. I've written for The New York Times, The Guardian, the Financial Times, The Independent and the Wall Street Journal and was a visiting fellow for the European Council on Foreign Relations.
