Dr. FARHAN SUFYAN
Assistant Professor in Greater Noida
Dr. Farhan Sufyan is currently working as an Assistant Professor and is affiliated with the School of Computer Applications & Technology, Galgotias University, located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is also serving as the Coordinator of the Cloud Computing Research Group, where he leads research initiatives and organizes conferences and workshops. Also, he is handling the responsibilities of Timetable Coordinator of the School, managing the workload of more than 100 faculties and the schedule of 2500 students. Prior to that, he also worked as an Assistant Professor at Auro University and Visiting Assistant Professor at Dyal Singh College, Delhi University.
Dr. Sufyan has consistently demonstrated exceptional merit and dedication throughout his academic journey. He holds a Ph.D. degree from South Asian University (SAU), New Delhi, India. He completed his Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) and his Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications (B.Sc. Hons) from the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He has successfully qualified for renowned national-level examinations such as UGC-NET (University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test) and GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). His outstanding academic performance has been recognized through various scholarships, including UGC-MANF (University Grants Commission-Maulana Azad National Fellowship) and SAU Ph.D. Fellowship.
His research interests lie primarily in the areas of Cloud Computing, IoT (Internet of Things), Edge Computing, and Blockchain. He has made significant contributions to the academic community through the publication of his research work in esteemed international journals like IEEE TSNM, IEEE Access, and IETE Journal Research, as well as reputable international conferences. Furthermore, he actively serves as a reviewer for several distinguished journals, including IEEE Sensors, IEEE Access, PLus ONE, Journal of Network and Systems Management, Journal of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications, Journal of Grid Computing, Journal of Super Computing and Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and Internet Society.
