► Professional Background
Before I changed my life and became a coach, I spent 15 years in marketing, business development, and consulting services for businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Objectively, I was successful, yet I was not living or expressing myself consciously. I was living my life according to what my culture, society and family conditioned me to live. To them success means graduating high school, finishing university, completing a masters degree, working for a Fortune 500 company, getting married, having kids, saving money, buying a house and preparing for retirement.
For me success is living an intentional conscious life that is right for me.
One day at the age of 35 I decided to leave the life that was expected of me. I quit my job, gave away all my belongings, moved to a new city and embarked on a voyage of self-discovery. By finding out who I was, what I was capable of, and what I wanted gave me the confidence to change careers. I studied coaching and counselling at Rhodes Wellness College – where I am now an instructor and a coach – and established my own private practice, for which I was named among the Top Six Life Coaches in Vancouver by Crowd Wellness in 2015.
Jumping into the unknown was a huge risk, but the reward of living intentionally and consciously, connecting to my purpose, values and authentic self has been worth every moment of doubt, insecurity and fear that I experienced along the way.
I am proud to be able to combine my skills as both a marketer and a coach to assist others in their own journey to find what it is true and meaningful for them.
