Living in the country fulfills most of my dreams – they keep expanding. Those of being surrounded by animals, those of working from home, and those of having quality time to write. Something is always going on. My first concern is caring for the animals, their feeding, environment, behavior, but my greatest pleasure is observing their interaction with each other. I enjoy watching the horses being horses, goats maintaining their herd activities, dogs playing games, cats napping positions, and chickens with so many agendas I can’t keep up. Then there are the bees; those little buggers are mesmerizing. Did I mention the kitchen garden? Or the composting? Or the landscaping? Or living with cancer? I write about all these things in addition to mystery and suspense stories. I’m infatuated with Native American and Western cultures to the point that most of my stories have a touch of history woven within them. You should read my blogs.
