1. One of my greatest strengths is harmony, meaning that I seek areas of agreement in times of conflict. I don't understand why people would ever fight over useless things so I do identify with this strength very much. I don't like to debate with people as I believe everyone has their own view and they can keep those views without having to impose them anyone else. This is good for my personal life since I rarely get into arguments with others, and for my future career as a teacher I will need the ability to solve conflicts peacefully so this is a useful quality for me to have.
2. The curriculum planning activities we did in class were most helpful to me because I finally got a chance to plan out my future, classes-wise. I'm a big planner so coming into my first semester and not knowing which classes I had to take for the rest of my four years was scary for me so this assignment really eased some of that tension. I now know exactly what I'm doing, and when I'm doing it, so this is going to make my career goals much easier to reach.
3.The Dream Job assignment in which we had to find a description of our dream job was another useful assignment for me. It was a real eye-opener to the world of job hunting so I at least have some idea as to what I should be looking for in a job. I figured out what kind of experience schools are looking for in future teachers and what kind of salaries are common so I know what areas I should brush up on when the time arises for me to look into becoming a real teacher.
