Farzan Haq

Computer Science Student in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

I’m a computer science student with experience in Java, Python, HTML and CSS. I have developed a number of websites and applications, and frequently like to work on personal projects to enhance my skills with particular programming languages. Throughout my academic career I have been recognized with several awards and distinguishments.

In my first year of university, I attended multiple hackathons hosted by the Computer Science Student Union. This allowed me to interact with like minded individuals whilst providing me with an opportunity to apply my new skills. In my personal time I was able to complete various online courses, giving me the ideal foundation to design and build beautiful, responsive websites. In the past, I have competed in mathematics and computer science competitions, as well as earned over one hundred volunteer hours for serving my community in meaningful ways.

Classmates regard me as a highly reliable team member who can always be trusted to find solutions and satisfy deadline requirements. I spend a lot of time researching the latest trends and technologies to remain up-to-date with the rapidly changing environment. I can work well alone, but I’m at my best when collaborating with others.

I am working towards an Honours Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.

I’m currently seeking opportunities in the Greater Toronto Area pertaining to software development, web design and/or digital media marketing. I can be reached by email at farzan.haq@mail.utoronto.ca or by phone at 289-981-0067.
