Father Jay Fostner serves as vice president of mission and student affairs at St. Norbert College in Wisconsin. Father Jay Fostner's responsibilities in this role include supervising a broad spectrum of the college's programs and physical assets.

His accomplishments include leading the reorganization of two college divisions into the mission and student affairs department, which he now heads. He also spearheaded the $1.2 million endowment of the Sturzl Center for Service and Learning, as well as the $1 million endowment of the Norman Miller Center for Peace, Justice, and Public Understanding.

By supporting some new programming in one of his areas, Father Fostner also assisted in the increased retention of students of color from approximately 40 percent to approximately 90 percent (first year to second year) and with his staff played a role in helping the college to achieve Carnegie recognition for excellence in service learning. He addressed a housing shortage by acquiring two apartment buildings to accommodate upper-class students, and he also implemented $5 million worth of residence hall improvements.

Father Fostner loves movies, and most of his reading is on professional development. He lives with the campus dog, which spends its day on campus playing with college students.
