Hi, my name is Fatim. I was born in a town in Guinea called Kankan were my parent used to live, in my early age my father got a work promotion in Conakry he decided with my mother to move there, Conakry in the city where I grew up. In 2020 I was sent to the United States by father to further my studies in business management which I will starting in the coming semester at Manhattan Community College in bachelor degree after accomplishing of my English class at BMCC Clip Program. On the hand, reading, music and assisting people to accomplish their daily tasks has been a pleasure for me in my leisure time.

At the time, I am working at Lincoln Correctional Facility which is a governmental program to aid refugees whose are in certain difficulties by supervising them and directing them to their rooms. Helping people has always been my favorite work, back than in Guinea i was volunteering for an NGO called Giving Back to the Community (GBTC) our mission was raising funds to assist orphan’s children to get a better education and a decent lifestyle.

I am a candidate at Miss Guinea North America Pageant 2023 and my plan of action will be on the emancipation of women’s. I believe in equality in gender, discrimination on women for the past years has been our fight at the Club Jeune Fille in Guinea.
