Fatima Hassan

I am Fatima Hassan, a final-year BS. Applied Microbiology student at UVAS, with a strong focus on molecular diagnostics and laboratory research, aiming to contribute to the world of microbiology. My expertise includes advanced molecular techniques, honed through hands-on experience in the Molecular Virology and Infectious Diseases Laboratory at CEMB. There, I worked with viral samples such as HBV, HCV, HIV, dengue, and COVID-19, utilizing PCR-based diagnostic techniques.

Throughout my academic journey, both in school and college, I have excelled academically while also engaging in a variety of extracurricular activities, including quizzes, contests, events, and science model presentations. These experiences have greatly contributed to my skill development and personal growth. My hobbies include playing table tennis, reading books and videography.

Currently, I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills in diverse laboratory and hospital settings to further advance my career.
