Fat Wheels

FATWHEELS® was born from a parent's love and determination. When Colleen and Tony Berlingieri's son, born with Kleefstra Syndrome, struggled for years to ride a bike independently despite balance bikes, camps, and therapy, they discovered FATWHEELS in 2003 — and within minutes, he was riding alongside the neighborhood kids.

In 2014, the Berlingieris purchased the FATWHEELS brand to share that same freedom with others. Today, FATWHEELS provides heavy-duty, adaptive training wheels for children, teens, and adults with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, or balance challenges — helping families, hospitals, schools, and therapy programs build confidence, independence, and the joy of riding.
