About Me:

I am a Senior Therapist and Counselor at PETRA Health and Wellness Group, which encompasses PETRA Counseling, PETRA Hypnosis, and the PETRA Reading Clinic.

My academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Mental Health Psychology from the University of Liverpool, UK and a Master of Arts from the National University of Singapore among others, and my most recent achievement is the conferment of a Doctorate in Mental Health and Psychological Services from the Global Institute for Leadership and Management Singapore.

About our Centre:

We also have a team of therapists cum Counsellors at our centre. We provide services to clients from Singapore and neighbouring regions. My practice caters to both local residents and expatriates.

How we Help People:

We have assisted individuals in overcoming various challenges, including chronic pain, stress and anxiety, depression, anger issues, fears and phobias, trauma, and other psychosomatic conditions.

Counselling Help:

At PETRA Counseling, we provide support for children and adults. We specialize in individual and couple/ marriage counseling. Some of us are trained in the Gottman method. With nearly thirty years of counseling experience and as the leader of our team I have developed a deep understanding of relationship dynamics and habe created a system for couple counselling which has proven very effective. I also do EMDR and EFT.

Career Opportunities:

As a pioneer in the field of hypnotherapy, I work with a select group of fully trained and experienced therapists, offering them the opportunity to join PETRA Hypnosis as full-time or part-time associates.

Hypnotherapy Qualifications:

Under my role as a Master Mind Power Coach, I emphasize the importance of lifelong learning, having accumulated extensive training in a variety of hypnotherapy disciplines. My qualifications include 5-PATH Hypnotherapy, 7th Path Self-Hypnosis, Board Certified Hypnotist, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Ego State Hypnotherapy, Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Conflict Resolution Hypnotherapy, and Scientific and Neurological Hypnotherapy. I have been providing hypnotherapy services since 2004 and training others in this field since 2006.

PETRA Reading Clinic

In addition, through PETRA Reading, I assist individuals—especially children—in learning to read effectively using methods like whole word learning, synchronized learning, and PETRA Phonics, which I developed approximately 30 years ago. I also run a clinic focused on reading and spelling, offering strategies for those seeking rapid progress, as well as providing support for speech correction.
