Fayyad “Blayse” Musa — Founder & Creative Director, YouNick Studio
Fayyad “Blayse” Musa is a multidisciplinary creative professional, brand thinker, and digital entrepreneur from Kaduna, Nigeria. With roots in computer science and an expansive career in graphic design and video editing, Fayyad has carved out a unique place for himself at the intersection of creativity, technology, and storytelling.
His journey began under the name Blayse Designs, a solo design practice that quickly built a reputation for clean, expressive visuals and intuitive branding. But beyond the craft, Fayyad’s work was always guided by a deeper intention to make design not just beautiful, but meaningful. That intention took on new life with the founding of YouNick Studio, a rebrand born from personal loss and professional growth.
Named in honor of his late brother Farid, whose name translates to “unique” in Arabic, YouNick is more than just a studio; it’s a tribute to legacy, and a promise to do work that stands apart. The “YOU” in YouNick emphasizes the brand’s commitment to client-centricity, recognizing that design should always begin with understanding real human problems, not just aesthetics.
At YouNick, Fayyad leads with curiosity and clarity. His approach goes beyond design deliverables, he’s obsessed with uncovering what truly drives or blocks a brand. He believes that most clients don’t just need a new logo or layout; they need someone who can identify their actual pain points, whether it's design, messaging, or marketing and craft a solution that resonates.
Fayyad’s creative philosophy is rooted in bold thinking, modern execution, and human connection. He thrives in projects that offer room for creative storytelling and strategic depth, especially in branding and digital identity work. He’s not trying to change the industry or chase trends, he’s here to play the game well and make his mark with intentional, premium-quality work.
In the years ahead, Fayyad envisions YouNick Studio as a high-performance hub for digital excellence a space where creativity is never sacrificed for productivity, and where every brand solution is crafted with care, context, and a bold spirit. He is deliberate about rejecting the generic, fast-food-style design culture common in many Nigerian agencies and aims to build a studio known for substance, not shortcuts.
