I am a Computational Mathematics and Aerospace Engineering graduate with a concentration in astronautics. Through my four years in college I became proficient at understanding engineering concepts and problem solving. I know how to read technical drawings and design CAD products in the CATIA V5 software. I am proficient at Mathematics, Solids, Fluids, Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Astrodynamics and programming using MATLAB and LabVIEW.

I am a successful and motivating leader, I lead Embry-Riddle’s team in the 2015 AIAA Undergraduate Team Space Transportation Design Competition where we obtained the third place. The competition required the design of an Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV) that was able to reach the earth moon Lagrangian points L1 and L2 in under 6 days. The design required the development and analysis of multiple trade studies, CAD models, mass budgets and many design revisions. Our team conducted an ample research and ended up with a 100 page report citing more than 100 sources. This project also served as our aerospace capstone course, as a result we had stringent deadlines for submitting reports and delivering oral presentations, and excellent time management was required. As the team leader, it was my responsibility that all the work was completed well before the deadline to allow for a stress-free environment and high-quality work.

As a new graduate, I am highly motivated and eager to begin my professional career. I am currently looking for entry level positions in the aerospace industry. Should you need to reach me, please feel free to contact me at 386-315-7580, or Fco.Aerospace@gmail.com.
