In April 2013, Francisco founded Traubid, an online platform dedicated for lonely travelers who are looking for cheap trips worldwide. The most important goal that is actually being validating is the capacity of people to travel with literaly strangers. Among them, they reduce their tour price depending on how many people join a specific tour. Networking, cool new and far places on earth, and cheap tourism is the overall value proposition that is running.
Francisco began his career after finding the Business Model Generation methodology at an internship in Cali, Colombia. He noticed the importance of tourism in Ecuador as one of the most profitable and social responsability economic sectors.
He now is working on Traubid and making some experiments to make airplane fares cheaper for flexible travelers (notice how young people, with so many dreams in their heads, look up each time for cheap booking flights).
The passion and what makes Francisco to move each day is running. It is coming a really challenged trekking race on late June.
