Federica Voi is an Italian performer and actress.
Since 2015 she is engaged in CRiAD, Research of Arts of the Dialogue Company. She is Lead Actress in the production “Gli Ignudi” an adaptation from “Clothing the Naked” by Luigi Pirandello, directed by Nicola Bibi Ciammarughi.
Actress and performer with Emma Dante, internationally acclaimed director and Ubu award-winning, and her company Sud Costa Occidentale. She is part of the cast in “Carmen”, opera performed at Teatro alla Scala in 2015 and “Feuersnot”, performed at Teatro Massimo di Palermo in 2014.
She works with Film Director Salvo Cuccia, her father, as actress, assistant director, screenwriter in feature films, video art installations and movies, documentaries, performances. Major roles include: Actress in “Fausse Route”, Assistant Director in the production of the documentary “Summer 82, when Zappa came to Sicily"​, special event at the 70th Venice Film Festival; Screenwriter and Actor Coach for the upcoming feature film “Lo Scambio"​.
Graduated as an Actress in 2012 at international school “Estudio Corazza” in Madrid, under the guidance of Juan Carlos Corazza (coach of Oscar winning Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz); later she has been his assistant at Funaro in Pistoia. During her formation at the Estudio, she studied Linklater tecnique for the voice with Antonio Ocampo, Nuria Castaño, Leticia Santafé. She trained in arts since her childhood, studied and worked in performing arts and studied on a professional level with: Juan Carlos Corazza, Yoshi Oïda (Théâtre Des Bouffes Du Nord- Paris); Claudio Naranjo (Gestalt Viva, Sat); Thomas Richards (Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards, Pontedera, Italia); Antonio Ocampo, Nuria Castaño, Leticia Santafé (Linklater tecnique for the voice - Madrid); Marco Bellocchio, Emma Dante (Palermo, Milano); Francesco Miccichè (Roma), Krysztof Warlikowski (Warsaw), Manuel Morón, Ana Gracia, Paula Soldevila (Madrid); Jean-Guy LeCat (set design); Majdi-Bou Matar (MT Space - Toronto) among others.
