For the past 20 years, attorney Federico Macia has served the greater Miami area’s immigration law needs. He provides clients with guidance in a variety of applications and petitions, including E-1 and E-2 treaty trader and investor, EB-1 extraordinary ability, and L-1 and H-1B visa petitions. A longtime member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Federico Macia also assists clients with consular matters and helps employers maintain regulatory compliance. He has represented clients in complex asylum and deportation defense cases in federal and appellate courts as well as the U.S. Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Mr. Macia was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1991 and has served as a faculty member wit the organization’s continuing legal education programs. He has published several articles in his field, including “Economy Relies on Complex Visa Policies” (Daily Business Review International Quarterly, Spring 2007). Federico Macia earned his J.D. at the University of Florida where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Florida International Law Journal.
