FELICIA FARERRE

I've been singing, or to be more accurate, 'speaking in pitch' since I can remember. My father, a brilliant vocalist, vocal coach with his Phd in music and education administration, saw my ability and was kind enough to spend many hours (many at my pleading) guiding and nurturing my natural talent. My mother, a closet concert pianist, and angel breathy vocalist, was a mentor as well. Accompanying me as well as my 7 siblings at countless recitals, events and various appearances.

My professional vocal work started at the age of 13, when I asked my brothers if I could audition for their band. I could earn in one night what it took me a week to earn with various baby sitting jobs. Knowing this aided me in gathering my courage to approach them. After the initial round of laughter, my brothers could see that I was serious and gave me a shot. When I auditioned for them, it was like they were hearing me for the first time. Their faces said it all; wow. Didn't hurt that I was strong and a hard worker. An extra set of muscles to tote equipment. I was proudly the new lead singer for their band and remained such, alongside my brothers well into my late teens.

At the age of 17, still in High School, I presented myself to a budding production company, made known to me by a couple of musician friends. The company hired me for a day to see how I might work, and to my delight at the end of that day they hired me for the entire project which consisted of more than 500 library jingles and music beds. From that early start, my career blossomed into all kinds of fantastic opportunity. Some of the highlights of my career experience have been enhancing the live and/or recorded vocals of Usher, Alan Jackson, John Tesh, Orla Fallon, David Archuleta, Amy Grant (harmonizing with her husband, country legend, Vince Gill on her Simple Things record) and working with writers, composers, producers and engineers such as Keith Thomas, Wayne Kirkpatrick, Billy Whittington, Barry Gibbons, Brown Bannister, Michael Omartian, Chance Scoggins, Cheryl Rogers, Phil Rey, Trammell Starks, Joe Sowrey, Jo Blankenburg, Joseph LoDuca, Two Steps From Hell (Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen), Adam Skorupa, Michał Cielecki and others.

I am currently collaborating with talented composers, music companies and artists; pursuing my dreams and creative endeavors.
