For nearly 20 years, Felicia Middlebrooks has served as the president and CEO of Saltshaker Productions, LLC, located in Chicago, Illinois. She oversees the creation of documentary films with the aim of providing new perspectives on current and historical events and public affairs. Felicia Middlebrooks received Best Documentary Short honors at the New York International Film & Video Festival for her debut film, Somebody’s Child: The Redemption of Rwanda.
She balances her schedule by co-anchoring the Morning Drive all news program on the CBS Radio affiliate WBBM in Chicago. During her tenure at the station, Ms. Middlebrooks has also written, researched and anchored several series of special reports and conducted interviews with newsmakers. She has received many professional honors, including the Edward R. Murrow Excellence in Journalism Award and the American Women in Radio & TV Award.
In preparation for her professional career, Felicia Middlebrooks earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and political science at Purdue University. She also holds an MBA from Purdue.
