Felipa Burke has a doctorate degree in Quantitative Economics, has worked for over 15 years in the European banking industry, and speaks four languages. She has led an impressive career in management and leadership at significant companies such as Goldman Sachs and the UK Asset Protection Scheme, where she has honed her skills in banking sales, solutions, and risk management. However, Felipa is careful not to let her career consume all of her time. She prioritizes leaving time to travel, give back through charity work, and spend time investing in her two daughters. Currently, Felipa is the acting director of Pego LLC, a company she founded to supply workplace hygiene monitoring systems.

After graduating from university with a degree in finance, Felipa Burke worked for several financial firms in London. Some of these include the Royal Bank of Scotland and Goldman Sachs. During her time in the city, she gained a deep understanding of various aspects of bank sales and risk management. In 2008, Felipa Aires Mateus Sousa Uva Burke took a year off from her job to focus on her personal interests. While maintaining her client relationships and working on her own projects, she also gave back to the community through charitable work.

During her time off, Felipa Burke took on a cooking class to improve her skills and develop her personal interests.
