I’m a cinematographer and a film director. I attended Escuela de Cine de Chile, where I specialized in cinematography. I spent my childhood between Chile and Germany and I’ve lived in Santiago since 2004.

I’ve directed several short films with which I have participated in SANFIC (Santiago International Film Festival), Valdivia Film Festival (FICV) and FESANCOR (Santiago's International Short Film Festival). These include "Fiction" and “2+2=5”. The latter won the National Award for Best Screenplay and Best Actress at the 14th version of FESANCOR (2006).

I was the cinematographer for the feature film "You Think you’re the Prettiest” (2009) directed by Che Sandoval as well as "First Born" (2016) directed by Carlos Leiva, winner of the Work in Progress Section in La Habana Film Festival. I was also the cinematographer in more than twenty shortfilms among which stands out "Apnea" (selected in San Sebastián and La Habana, 2012) by Jeremy Hatcher, "Asunción" (selected in Cannes -Cinéfondation-, 2013) by Camila Luna and "Levantar" (selected in San Sebastián 2014) by Georgina Pérez.

In 2011 I founded Metáfora Films, a production company where I'm responsible for the direction of each project, as well as the cinematography.

In 2014 I got knowledge in image post-production, which lead me to work as a colorist in some interesting TV projects, such as the first season of "Kulmapu : the new Mapuche culture", Kulrapa and short documentary stories for Nat Geo.

In 2016 I was in charge of the camera and color post production of the documentary series "Por la Razón y la Ciencia", made for VTR and CNN Chile.
