I am an Emergency Medicine Physician and clinician educator at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. I'm a Faculty and Fellow in Emergency Ultrasound at SinaiEM. I'm interested in medical education, in the science of resuscitation and the use of point-of-care ultrasound.

I believe that passion, curiosity and discipline are the base of meaningful learning. Fostering these virtues is my challenge as an educator.

I am originally from Chile, where I completed medical school and fell in love with emergency care while working at one of the busiest public hospitals in Santiago. I moved to New York in 2012 to train in Emergency Medicine and found home in Brooklyn. When I'm not working, you will find me cooking, running or biking the streets of NY.
