Felix Danishwara

My name is Felix Danishwara, I was born in a small city called Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The city was the center for Indonesian culture and it was also the center for education. I grew up in that city all my life and only when i was about 18 then I moved to California. The transition was huge. From a small city where everyone knows anyone, to a big city where no one wants to talk to anyone. This transition has triggered more of individualism in my life and has shaped me into who I am now. I was not a nature-loving and adventure-seeking person when I was growing up, but I know the beauty of nature is really something that i had loved. I had loved watching documentaries about the wonders of animals and nature and also reading encyclopedia about them to. One thing that fascinates me the most about nature is color. Since I was little I had always been an artist in heart. Coming to California had allowed me to express my self to become who I really am. I had my B.S. Degree from California State University Long Beach in 2012 as an Industrial Design Major. Since then I had been working as a designer in an industrial design consultancy firm.
