Felix Gonzalez
21st House District of the State of Illinois
Felix Gonzalez is an attorney with his home and law office in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood of Chicago. He has brought insight, creativeness and leadership to the various boards and organizations he has been associated for the last 14 years.
Felix has been in private practice as a small business owner for most of his career and knows personally the struggles that families and businesses have endured the last six years of this recession.
Felix attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, and went on to study Philosophy at the University of Illinois in Urbana where he also earned his law degree.
He has served on the board of Hispanic Lawyers Association as well as for a not for profit that provides mental health and substance abuse counseling, including women’s programs such as Post Partum Depression. He was appointed to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, a state agency dedicated to improving the administration of criminal justice in Illinois. He is actively involved with St. Symphorosa Parish where his sons Diego and Nicolas attend school, and he is the Cubmaster for their Boy Scout Pack.
“I am a Candidate because I believe that we can do better. As the crossroads of industry, transportation, agriculture, science and global businesses; Illinois should be the top state in the Union in terms of job production and employment.” Sadly the numbers tell a different story.
Felix brings the right balance of experience, expertise and skill to the legislature in order to provide the people of the 21st House District a choice in their lives and their futures. He is dedicated to individual freedom and accountability, less government, lower taxation, and ending the cycle of failed policies which have made it harder for businesses and individuals to provide a better life for themselves and their families.
We must solve the issues which confront us together and let the principles of Freedom, Family and strength in the Future guide us. I ask for your vote.
