Take my class

Restless dancer and performer, studied Contemporary dance at CAD and Endanza in Seville, finishing his studies at Tanzakademie Balance 1 Berlin in 2008. I specialized in Acting and Contact Improvisation dance.

In Berlin, I gained significant experience in integrating the Butoh Dance Collective and CI O.G.M. and developing my firsts projects such as The Time Machina, and the solo performance The Cabine. Various other projects ensued, both as a creative and interpreter, like Yellow Monday, Brandscapes, Party?...like it and AADK’s Welcome to Europe. In addition, I started developing projects in Spain, together with the Collective Criaturas de Laboratorio at Teatro Efímero, in Sevilla.

In October 2011, I was awarded the Jury Prize for the performance Medio Lleno, presented during the II Certamen de Cápsulas at Sevilla feSt.

In my continued development, I received training with various talented and acknowledged choreographers including Guillermo Weickert, Juan Luis Matilla, Álvaro Frutos, Bárbara Sánchez, Horácio Macuacua, Laura Morales Davila, and particularly in CI with Danni Pedrero, Danni and Ecki, Carmen Alcalde, Christiane Boullosa, Otto Akanen, Alyssa Lines, Asaf Bachrach, Linda Bufali, amongst others.

From 2013, I have created and participated in numerous projects such as La mujer del pescador at Cachorros en la Noche; BLN at Ciclo de Piezas Cortas de Danza; Lo que toca at Vertebración III culminating with the nomination for Best Dancer by the Red de Escenarios de Sevilla; and El Cabrón más Fuerte at Vertebración IV. More recently, I have joined the performance of Tino Seghal’s Instead of Allowing Some Thing to Rise Up to Your Face Dancing..., and I’m currently developing my newest project La Descolonización del Cuerpo, presented at the latest edition of the cultural night (October 2016) of Noche en Blanco in Sevilla.

Since 2011, I became a prominent instructor in Contact Improvisation Dance, participating in several festivals, conferences, and workshops. My growth as allowed for the collaboration as an external teacher for other educational centers and institutions, such as the Universidad Pablo Olavide for the Masters in Physical Education and Art Therapy, the Conservatorio Superior de Danza Antonio Ruiz Soler or Curso de Lenguajes Corporales y Creativos of the Asociación Proexdra in Sevilla, and participating as an organizer and teacher at the Asturias Contact Festival (2015-2017).
