I am a former NASCAR driver and now have segued into off-road racing, gearing up for the SCORE Championship Desert Race Series which includes the San Felipe 250, Baja 500 and the monumental Baja 1000. I've raced in the Baja 1000 several times before and was credited as the first Black driver to enter the prestigious race.

Known as "The Nighthawk", I started my adult life with thirteen years in the United States Navy Submarine Service during the Cold War and the Viet Nam Conflict. My first job in the Navy was actually driving the submarine, with my longest stint underwater without surfacing, being 85 days aboard a nuclear submarine. After attending SONAR School, I became a SONAR Technician and Naval Instructor. I was a member of the Nuclear Weapons Reliability Program, as well as a member of the Foreign Military Sales Team.

After the military, I worked as an Aerospace Engineer with several companies, most notably, Northrop, as a Senior Systems Engineer on the B-2 Stealth Bomber Project by day and as a college professor lecturing in the fields of computer science and information systems by night. In addition, I am also a qualified Taekwondo instructor and competed throughout Asia.

I am also a frequent participant in celebrity tennis and golf tournaments which helps support such worthwhile causes as Disabled Veterans, Cancer, Diabetes, abused women and children.
