Laura Feller

I will soon be starting my seventh year teaching in the Omaha Public Schools District. I currently head up the culinary arts program at the Career Center. Although my days can be crazy (imagine 21 high school students with chef knives!), I love the challenge of mhy position. The courses I teach are Culinary Foundations 3-4 and Baking Basics. They are advanced college-level courses that are dual enrollment with MCC.

So far, I have enjoyed getting to know my classmates through Concordia U. My least favorite class thus far was Research and Design--another language to me!

The most exciting news in my life is that I am newly married. We had a beautiful day wedding in my homestate of MN. Everything went amazingly well. As you can see from my picture, my lucky groom sang to me at our reception. I'll keep him! : ) We just returned home from our honeymoon at El Dorado Royale in Mexico and had a fabulous time.
