Dedicating three years of my life to pursuing a STEM degree for the sake of appeasing family, advisors, and societal expectations taught me 3 important lessons:

1. I am an avid lifelong learner who values open-mindedness and authentic daily living
   
2. Joy and work do not have to be mutually exclusive; for me, they are easily combined when genuinely serving others
   
3. The relationships and skills we develop are far more valuable in the long run than any credentials awarded by static institutions

  • I relish new ideas and easily grasp complex topics. For me, there is nothing better than examining an unfamiliar perspective and simplifying its intricacies for others.

  • I enjoy close relationships and find deep satisfaction in helping others accomplish their goals. Because I am motivated by ideas and service, I can easily transition between project leader and support roles.
• Achiever -
  • I love attempting to accomplish what has not been done before. I take great satisfaction from prioritizing meaningful work and am likely to zero in on tasks for hours when working on projects which truly excite me.
• Maximizer -
  • I excel at transforming good into great. By paying attention to the subtlest details, I bridge the gaps that others often overlook. Thus, I can facilitate genuine connection and understanding in the name of objective progress.

  • Ideas are my jam. I am fascinated by new perspectives and enjoy the challenge of authentic interdisciplinary thinking. I regularly generate questions and suggestions which aid in the development of innovative solutions.
