At the age of 13, meaning twenty years ago, Yousef Alaghehband began his fencing career. After some time, he joined the Junior Providence of Esfahan team and gained champion status in individual and team competitions.He also was a champion amongst university students.Besides being a fencer himself, he coached and refereed fencing, He also supervised multiple fencing clubs, managed fencing foreign affairs, and was the director of the talent scouting committee. Yousef received various international certificates from FIE(International Fencing Federation) , USA and Canada.Additionally, he was rewarded by the Confederation of Asia and others clubs
