Stephanie

I am a writer and a photographer studying abroad in Syracuse Sicily for a semester. I study philosophy and it is a huge influence on the way that I think and consequently, the way that I write. I love to observe the way that the world around me works and then analyze my observations in order to make better sense of the chaos that surrounds us. Each post will be inspired by some event or person that I have encountered in my life. I love to put myself out into new and unusual situations in order to broaden my perspectives. Also I am kind of a thrill seeker. That may have something to do with it as well. My goal is to conquer my fears by throwing myself into them headfirst. Living in a country, foreign from my own where I know little to none of the language has helped me to take this first step. Traveling Europe, meeting new people and being offered new opportunities will give me all the chances I need to accomplish this. In my analysis of these situations, I often find nuggets of wisdom for myself that I want to document here to carry with me throughout this journey and my life.
