HOW I LEARN???My Personal Learning Philosophy Hi, my name is Fernando and I would like to share with you some things about how I learn and my philosophy about that, in order to get know what is my learning style. I know that there are 3 kinds of learning: Visual, auditory and kinesthetic. I was reading about this information to decide what is my sort, but I am going crazy because I think I have the three styles. Which till the moment I think that is very good but I don't know if it's disadvantage don't have something definitive. I consider that through my life I have applied the 3 styles depending on the objective or the subject I am studying. For example when I am studying for an exam I like to review my notebook again and if possible (if I have time) re-write certain important notes in a separated peace of sheet or make a little-little summary. Or if I have a serial of words to learn by heart (memorize) I like to make a separated list and repeat it several times; in this part I like make memo-technique like creating other words easily to remember using the first or the two firsts letters of the words in the list.
I other occasions, when I have a lot to read (many pages of a book) for the exam I like to read that aloud because I think I learn better and I can keep concentrated, but I do that only if someone is in my house (like my mom or my brother) because if no I think I am crazy and I don't like that. So I read in silent but I have to admit that it is very hard for me, I get distracted easily (even if a fly pass in my way, or I play with the pencils or a thread) the noises (and music with chant) is very distractive for me, I prefer without any noise or classical/instrumental music. For me reading is very boring and difficult sometimes I need to re-read three times to can understand (that doesn't happen when I read aloud). For that reason I hate when the exam is about a part of a fat book. In the area I study (chemistry) sometimes in the book they explain something with chemical formulas or molecules, etc and I cannot get the idea till I build the molecule whit a plastic model (or even with crumpled paper). I chose for my major the area where I can experiment and try with my hands (intervene) because I never liked that ones where you have to read all the time (like history) or a lot of mathematical equations.
Talking about the classroom I think I use the three techniques too. I always use to sit down in the front of the classroom, in pa
