Ferdinand Morton
Ferdinand Morton is an arts educator at the Ronald Edmonds Learning Center in Fort Greene; Brooklyn where he instructs general, and special needs students in graphic arts, and music production. Previously, he was a graphic designer, and art director for several publications including Parade, Adweek Magazine Group, The New York Times Magazine, and Black Enterprise Magazine. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, from the School of Visual Arts and a Masters in Education from Touro College. In the fall of 2011, he began his studies for his second masters degree in Art & Design Education at Pratt Institute. Outside of his studio, and the classroom, Ferd as he is known as by friends and associates, enjoys drawing, and playing the upright, and electric bass. He currently lives in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
