Born in Pontinha - Lisbon, became a gymnast of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica when I was 4 years old and for 20 years was a member of the Gymnastics & Dance Group: Águias do S.L.Benfica. Went to Faculdade de Motricidade Humana to become a Physical Education Teacher with a Specialization in Ergonomics. I was Ergonomist of the Liga Portuguesa dos Deficientes Motores at the same time a Teacher and Coach in several Gymnastics and Fitness Clubs of Lisbon and in 1995 became a aerobic gymnastics coach, international judge and later in 1997 became a Aerobic Gymnastics Technical Director of the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal.
