Fernando Aguado

Based in Amsterdam, historical keyboardist Fernando Aguado has performed in venues such as Alice Tully Hall (NY), Muziekgebouw aan't Ij (Amsterdam) or Palacio de Congresos (Madrid). Laureate of the Madrid Circulo Bach competition. Musical Assistant to Laurence Cummings at the International Handel Festspiele in Göttingen since 2017, he has continued to garner Handelian Opera expertise in 2018 alongside Chirstian Curnyn and Christopher Bucknall in productions of Theodora and Partenope. Having made appearances in some of the most important European festivals (Utrecht, Stockholm, Ambronay...) he has performed alongside musicians the likes of Jordi Savall, Monica Huggett or Christopher Hogwood. A regular collaborator with Ensemble Seconda Pratica he is also active as a teacher having taught at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. Fernando studied at The Juilliard School, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Richard Egarr and at the Royal Conservatory of Madrid.
