Fernando Aparecida
Teacher, Small Business Owner, and Public Speaker in Praia Grande, SP, Brasil
I´m a Business English Coach, Journalist, World Traveller and eternal learner. Being graduated in Business Management by the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-Brazil), I decided to move to United States in 2005 to pursue further knowledge in the english language, which I have been doing ever since. I also hold a TESOL certificate from Bridge Linguatec-Texas which allows me to perform as an ESL Teacher world wide. Right now I´m writing a book concerning the experiences I´ve had while living abroad and getting to know more than 30 different nationalities. I teach language focusing on speaking and listening skills most of the time and my students are usually multinational executives. I pretty much enjoy a lot what I do and so do my students! Soon will be taking a Masters degree in Linguistics. I have recently participated in the International Insurance Society (IIS) Hall of Fame Gala Dinner 2012 in Rio de Janeiro which inducted my late father Manuel Póvas as a visionaire in his field, being the founding father of Bradesco Previdência in Brazil.
