“Fernando Pacheco has well-deserved credibility as a musician, recording artist, producer and radio personality.” - John Berger, Honolulu Pulse / Jan 13, 2012

Fernando Pacheco was born and raised on the island of Oahu. Growing up on a dairy, the first thing he wanted to be was a cow. He has not achieved this goal.

Although singing with PIMPBOT is his first love, he is easily recognized as the host of Almost Local on OC16. After entertaining radio listeners for over a decade, fans can continue to hear his voice on The Flannel Panel Podcast.

As a pundit in social media, he doesn’t just share news – he creates it. Due to his powerful online presence he was brought on as a full-time blogger forbeing808.com – HMSA’s health and wellness blog.

As if all that weren’t enough, he regularly performs stand-up comedy, having opened for such national acts as Brian Posehn, Todd Barry and Flight of the Conchords’ Rhys Darby.

In giving back to his community, he volunteers his time to hold the multimedia seat on the City and County of Honolulu Commission on Culture and the Arts. He also leads 808 Green Thumbs, one of Hawaii’s largest gardening groups.
