Ferran Rodriguez Sanchez

I was born in Sta. Eulàlia, L’Hospitalet del Llobregat (Barcelona) in mid 1963. I studied Biology at Barcelona’s University while I worked in the Educational Department of Barcelona’s Zoo. It was in this period when I started to draw as professional, drawing wildlife for several books and publications. My first contact with non-wildlife illustration became through “Sonic the Hedgehog”, Magazine in which I drew in 1993 for more than two years. After that I joined with Disney, first just as an inker, discipline in which I’m considered one of the best, and after as a good character artist. After two years of designing “Horseland” comic strips (DIC Entertainment) now I combine Disney works with my own characters and projects
