I believe that in today’s increasingly interconnected and globalized world, an international, multi-cultural approach to life is essential.
I studied law in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In 2012 I spent some months as an intern within DG COMP of the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium. This was my first practical experience with Competition Law. I found this field to be particularly challenging and interesting. Competition law is ever evolving. It exists in most countries and in all types of economies. Economic decisions are influenced by politics and by cultural backgrounds. Based on my experience at DG COMP, I decided that I would like to specialize in Competition Law. That's why I attended the Competition Law Master programme at King's College London. I then followed up with an internship at the German Federal Cartel Authority in Bonn, Germany. I have also worked as a trainee lawyer at international law firms (Clifford Chance and Gleiss Lutz), experiencing the perspective of a lawyer representing the interests of private individuals.
I'm currently working as a lawyer in Munich (Germany), specialised in Competition Law, State Aid and Public Procurement.
Apart from German, I speak Italian, English, French and Romanian.
