I have learned that life is NOT ALL ABOUT ME; it's about RELATIONSHIPS . As I strive to have the best relationship with my wife, friends, employer, mom, dad or children, I have learned to accept they will never be perfect.

There is one relationship I have learned is pivotal to all others and that is my relationship with our Creator. As I build and strengthen this relationship with God, and as I get to know Him better, all other relationships come much easier. I don't overly strive to please others if I know I am pleasing God. I don't worry about my mistakes when I know that my sins are first and foremost sins against my Lord. I know I have forgiveness with Him when I fully acknowledge my sin and trust that through Jesus death on the cross I am forgiven and reconciled to Him.

I know he made me for a purpose and I know I will always be restless unless I find rest in him. Ever day is an opportunity to glorify Him and enjoy Him.
