Rosa María Menéndez Fernández

As you can see at the top of this bio, my name is Rosa; however, few people call me by my real name. I was renamed long time ago, when my eldest brother, who is one year older than me, started to name me Yoki , a logic development, isn´t it?. Anyway, I prefer not to give you more details about the reasons that led him to modify my name, they make me feel quite ashamed.

Maths, chemistry and physics teacher; I earn my money teaching at home. I have twelve wonderful pupils, very good students, who let me make a brief interruption to attend English lessons in Luarca; we will see for how long!

Regarding my private life, I am divorced with two lovely kids, a twelve year-old boy and a ten year-old girl, who give another meaning to my life, kisses for them!

I like walking through off-the-track paths; the more unknown they are, the better I like them. I also love exploring the seaside: when the tide is low, I can spend hours walking on the rocks discovering new inlets that are inaccessible at high tide. Nevertheless, I am not an unsociable person; contrary to it, I enjoy talking to everyone and making new friends, I hope some of you will become my friends.
