Fethi Akkari

Fethi Akkari, author of The Power of the Swarm: When Decentralized Finance Reinvents Finance, is the Deputy General Manager at the Central Bank of Tunisia. With over 22 years of expertise in banking regulation, he has built a distinguished career at the forefront of financial innovation and regulatory leadership.
M. Akkari was appointed by the Head of the Tunisian Government as an expert specialized in fighting financial crimes in the Tunisian Financial Intelligence Unit.
He holds master degrees in banking and Islamic finance from Université Paris Dauphine and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS-USA, certified digital finance expert from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, certified DeFi expert from Blockchain Council USA and certified in FinTech Regulation and Regulatory Innovation Programme from University of Cambridge.
Mr. Akkari is also a visiting lecturer at Judiciary Higher Institute, the Finance and banking Academ, Ecole Supérieure de la Banque-France.
