Medical Leadership & Academic Medicine

Dr. Feuer is board-certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of both the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American College of Legal Medicine.

He founded and served as Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and Regional Director of the Palm Beach Consortium for Graduate Medical Education, an HCA-affiliated multi-hospital academic medical center. Under his leadership, the consortium launched and achieved full accreditation for 14 AOA and 5 ACGME residency programs — all of which posted a historic 100% first-time board pass rate.

During his 30-year career with HCA Healthcare, Dr. Feuer held numerous senior roles including Director of Medical and Academic Affairs, member of hospital senior leadership, Chair of the market-wide Ethics Committee, and Medical Director of Employee Health. He also served as Regional Clinical Dean and Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Nova Southeastern University and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

Today, Dr. Feuer serves as Chief Surgeon and Medical Director of the Florida Highway Patrol, where he oversees the health, wellness, and operational medical support for the state’s troopers.

Legal & Organized Medicine

An experienced healthcare attorney, Dr. Feuer has been Of-Counsel to the firm of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, and was a founding member, Vice President, and Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Florida office of Brennan, Manna & Diamond, PL. He is a past President of the Palm Beach County Medical Society and former Chairman of the Joint Medical-Legal Committee of the Medical Society and Palm Beach County Bar Association.

Media & Broadcasting

A seasoned medical communicator, Dr. Feuer produced and hosted the radio program For Your Health on WPBR, delivered the For Your Health Minute on WRLX-FM, served as medical expert for WPBF-TV (ABC), and co-hosted Doctor to Doctor on WPEC-TV (CBS). The latter consistently outperformed ABC’s Good Morning America in its time slot, drawing twice the audience.

Maritime Medicine & Travel Industry

Together with his wife Ileana, Dr. Feuer owns Pace Travel. Both were among the first 50 professionals worldwide designated as CLIA Master Cruise Counsellors. Dr. Feuer serves as a trusted advisor to cruise lines, providing confidential medical audits and strategic analysis to senior leadership. He authored the Survey of Maritime Medical Facilities on Cruise Ships (Journal of Critical Care Medicine), acted as owner’s representative for the medical center design of Project America newbuild ships, and delivered Congressional testimony on Cruise Ship Safety before the 106th Congress on October 7, 1999.
