Frankie Falwell

As a 1999 graduate of Northeastern State University, I have 4 years of teaching experience, 7 years of administrative experience at the middle school level and served as the director of alternative education at McAlester High School for the past six months. I hold current certifications at all administrative levels.

As an educational consultant for Scholastic during the 2010/2011 school year, I travelled extensively within the Central Region (mostly the Houston area) to deliver training and implementation services to customers who have purchased Scholastic products. I regularly consulted with teachers and school administrators to gather and review student data in order to provide recommendations for improvement. In addition, I regularly modeled lessons for teachers, sold additional services, counseled with teachers concerning classroom management and teaching strategies and met with local school administrators to discuss school improvement.

From 2003 – 2010, I served as the Assistant Principal of Muskogee’s 7 & 8 Center. Muskogee Public Schools serve a very unique and diverse student population. We served over 750 students at the 7 & 8 Center, many of which were minorities with very little parental support at home. I have experience in the areas of master scheduling, curriculum mapping, data assessment, discipline, plant management, personnel issues (including teacher and support staff evaluations), curriculum selection and implementation, special education coordination, and transitioning from team teaching to professional learning communities.

It is my goal to combine my experience with various stakeholders within public education (board members, community leaders, outside consultants, parents, etc.) with my endless ambition to become an energetic, enthusiastic, and intelligent administrator for your school district. I truly believe that I would make a positive contribution to your workforce. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience.
