L. Felice Gorordo is a serial entrepreneur, advisor and operator. Currently, Felice is CEO of eMerge Americas, the preeminent platform transforming Miami into the tech hub of the Americas. In 2018, eMerge’s annual conference brought together more than 15,000 attendees, over 400 participating companies and 110 innovative startups from around the world. In tribute to his late mother’s fight against pancreatic cancer, Felice is also an advisor to the Biden Cancer Initiative, founded by former Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden, to develop and drive the implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care.

Most recently, Felice led global expansion for StartUp Health, a venture fund/accelerator investing in “Health Moonshots” and building the largest portfolio of digital health companies across the globe. Previously, Felice was President & CEO of Clearpath, (acquired by L1BRE), a venture-backed tech company focused on revolutionizing the confusing, costly and paper-based immigration filing process – just as TurboTax transformed tax filing. At Clearpath, Felice leveraged patented technology to empower immigrants and democratize the immigration process by making it easier, more affordable and secure for individuals to file their own applications. Following the acquisition of Clearpath, Felice served as CEO of L1BRE, a tech company that aims to transform urban mobility in Latin America and powers the largest taxi fleet in the world, with more than 138,000 cabs in circulation and 2.2 million daily riders.

Prior to that, Felice was appointed by President Obama as one of fifteen 2011-2012 White House Fellows. Felice also co-founded and leads Roots of Hope, a non-profit focused on youth empowerment in Cuba through technology, entrepreneurship and travel. In 2009, Felice was an advisor to Grammy winner Juanes and helped organize the historic Peace without Borders concert in Cuba, with 1.2 million in attendance. In President Bush's Administration, he served in various positions at the U.S. Departments of Commerce, State, and Homeland Security.

PODER Magazine has named Felice one of the 100 Poderosos Most Influential Hispanics in the U.S., and he has been featured on CNN’s Young People Who Rock. Felice is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Senior Fellow at the Georgetown University Beeck Center for Social Impact & Innovation.
